A. N. Myer Sr. Boys Basketball is part of a rich history of athletic excellence.  The team has won numerous Zone III "AAA" championships with many players moving on to play at the post secondary level.

Jr. Boys basketball is open to all players in grade 9 or 10.  The team consists of 12-15 players and play a league and tournament schedule.  Come out and join the tradition!


Both Sr. Boys and Jr. Boys Basketball teams begin near the beginning of November. The teams typically enter 4 tournaments along with their league play. Practices take place before and after school, usually 3-5 days a week.

In 2013-14 the Sr. Boys Basketball team was represented with 3 grade 10 call-ups.  They won the prestigious Ivan Foster Tournament in St. Catharines and defeated 1st place Notre Dame in the Zone III semi final.

The Jr. Boys Basketball
team in 2014 was the SOSSA finalist, Champions in 4 tournaments (Jamie Fioca, Geoff Allan, Ivan Foster, and the ANM Tournament), Zone III champions, and Disney World Tournament participants. 

In 2015-2016, the Sr. Boys Basketball team had a dominant year, finishing the season with 24-10. Highlights of the season include winning the Bob Coull Classic and the Welland Tribune Tournament. The team also finished 4th in the highly competitive Silver Fox Invitational. They went on to win the Zone III Championship and lost a tough game to MacNabb, who went onto OFSAA.

The Jr. Boys Basketball team had an excellent year, winning the Myer Tournament and the Zone III Championship. They went on to SOSSA to lose in the championship game.
