MYER’S SPIRIT CARRIES ON
brickbybrickStudent Council is also spearheading an initiative called “Brick by Brick.” In 1995 Craig Kielburger established a foundation called Free The Children. Brick by Brick is one of the many organizations within this foundation. Brick by Brick is working with an international organization called Hand in Hand. Hand in Hand was founded by Joanna, Klimczak, a Myer student in 2008 and is affiliated with Free the Children. Our efforts will focus on raising $50 000 for Adopting Village Programs in Sierra Leone and India. By Adopting Villages in these impoverished regions, we will help provide clean water, health care, education and alternative income sources. We know we can make a difference, we have the will and as a group we will find a way to reach our goals.
