CAMP MYER: Learning and Developing Leadership Skills for Life

Experiential education at an outdoor adventure camp near Huntsville. Students collaboratively work in colour groups to lead each other through small and large group activities like high ropes and /or hiking; whilst at the same time challenging themselves to personally grow.

Individual talents are celebrated and the opportunity to explore all sides of self is provided in order for students to see themselves in relation to the leaders they’ll become. Life, Learning Lessons (L3s) are offered as “ food for thought” after most activities in order to consolidate learning. 

Friendships are forged and memories are made as plans are created for events to be held leading fellow students once we’ve returned to campus.

Camp Myer celebrates it's ten year anniversary of the event.  
Students come together at Camp Medeba (Outdoor Experiential Learning Centre) to learn the importance of: Respect, Inspire, Courage and Community!
